This navy tote is cut from polyester oxford cloth rather than canvas, which makes it lighter, water-resistant and easy to wipe clean. At 35 x 26 x 12 cm it takes a 13-inch laptop, an A4 folder and a water bottle, and the structured body stands upright on a desk or counter.

It is made to order for brands, retailers, hotels and event teams. Size is customisable, the body is oxford cloth, and branding can be applied by UV printing, heat transfer or screen printing. MOQ is 200 pieces and the reference price is US$8.00 per unit.

Why Oxford Cloth Instead of Canvas

Oxford is a tightly woven synthetic fabric, usually polyester, with a smooth surface and a water-resistant finish. Compared with cotton canvas of similar weight it is lighter, does not shrink, holds colour better after repeated use and dries quickly. Spills and dust wipe off with a damp cloth instead of soaking into the fibre.

For a bag that is carried to work, used for groceries or left in a hotel room, those properties matter more than the natural hand-feel of cotton. The trade-off is that oxford is synthetic, so if your programme requires a natural fibre we can quote the same construction in cotton canvas instead.

The tight weave also gives a smooth print surface: fine type and small logos stay readable, and the print does not sink into a textured weave the way it can on heavy canvas.

Construction and Materials

• Body: 600D polyester oxford in navy with a water-resistant finish; 420D and 900D weights available.
• Shape: structured rectangular body with a 12 cm gusset and a reinforced base panel.
• Seams: bound interior seams and a double-folded top edge, so no raw fabric is exposed.
• Lining: smooth wipe-clean polyester in navy, stitched to the body so it does not pull out.
• Handles: 3.8 cm cotton webbing, stitched down the front panel and box-X reinforced at the top.
• Closure: two metal snaps at the top opening; a top zip can be specified.
• Colours: navy as standard; black, grey, burgundy and custom Pantone matches available.

Because the bag is cut and sewn to order, the proportions can be adjusted for a different laptop size or shelf footprint without changing the construction.

Interior Layout

The inside back panel carries two slip pockets: a wide one for a phone, a passport or a small notebook, and a narrower one for cards, pens or a cable. Both are stitched to the lining panel rather than hanging loose, so they keep their shape when the bag is empty.

The smooth lining is easy to wipe clean, which matters for a bag used for food, cosmetics or gym kit. Optional additions include a padded laptop sleeve, a zip pocket, a key leash and a bottle divider; each is quoted separately so the unit price stays transparent.

Handles and Closure

The webbing handles are sewn from the top edge down the front panel rather than attached at four points. That spreads the load across the panel and avoids the torn top hem that is common on cheaper totes. The standard drop is 28 cm, which clears the hand and most shoulders; a longer drop or a detachable shoulder strap can be specified.

The two metal snaps close the mouth of the bag without a zip, which keeps access quick at a till, a desk or a security check. They are set into the top binding, so they do not pull on the fabric when the bag is opened wide.

Printing and Branding

Three print methods are available for this bag:

• UV printing: holds photographic detail, gradients and fine type without colour separation, with low setup cost.
• Heat transfer: suited to multicolour artwork and small runs within an order, with a soft hand-feel.
• Screen printing: the most economical choice for one to four spot colours and strong opacity on navy.

The front panel offers a clean print area of roughly 28 x 18 cm. The back panel, gusset and handle ends can also be printed. On a dark body, light or metallic inks give the strongest contrast, and Pantone matching is available. Woven labels, leather patches, metal tags and embroidery are available as separate trims.

The photographs show a sample bag without branding; your own logo and colours replace it in production.

Custom Sizes

Size is fully custom. The 35 x 26 x 12 cm version is the standard day tote, but the same construction can be made smaller for a tablet or lunch bag, or larger for retail and grocery use. Changing the gusset depth changes how much the bag holds and how it stands, so we confirm the internal dimensions against your contents before sampling.

Handle drop, lining colour, webbing colour and pocket layout can all be adjusted. Send a sketch, a sample or a list of contents and we will propose a size and a specification.
