This is the plain canvas tote that most bulk programmes actually need: a light, flexible cotton bag with long handles, a clean print area and a price that works at volume. It is unlined and unstructured by design, so it folds flat for storage and shipping, and it takes a full-colour print without a board or frame inside.

Size is fully custom, the fabric is cotton canvas, and branding can be applied by UV printing, heat transfer or screen printing. The MOQ is 500 pieces and the reference price is US$1.50 per unit for the standard unprinted bag.

A Bulk Tote That Still Looks Sharp

Low-cost totes often fail in small ways: handles that pull out of the top hem, a print that cracks after a few weeks, or a body so thin that the bag hangs out of shape. This style is built to avoid those failures at a price that still works for giveaways. The handles are stitched and box-X reinforced, the top hem is double folded, and the canvas is chosen to hold print without show-through.

Because the bag is unlined, it packs flat and freight is efficient. That matters when you are shipping 2,000 or 20,000 pieces: the carton count and the landed cost per unit are both lower than a structured bag, while the bag still looks presentable in a photo, on a counter or at an event.

Fabric and Construction

• Canvas: 8 oz as standard for the lowest unit cost; 10 oz and 12 oz available for a heavier hand.
• Colours: natural, bleached white, black, navy; custom dyeing from 1,000 pieces per colour.
• Handles: 2.5 cm cotton canvas straps, stitched into the top hem and box-X reinforced; drop length to your brief.
• Seams: double-folded top hem, side seams with a 1 cm allowance, no raw edges inside.
• Options: bottom gusset, side gusset, zip top, interior slip pocket, press-stud closure.
• Tolerance: cut and sewn dimensions are held to plus or minus 1 cm.

The standard version has no lining and no hardware, which keeps it light, machine-friendly and easy to recycle. If you need a wipe-clean interior for food or cosmetics, a coated lining can be added and quoted separately.

Sizes are fully custom, and the five below cover most bulk briefs. For reference, a sheet of A4 paper is 21 x 29.7 cm.

Gussets are available in all sizes: a bottom gusset of 8, 10 or 12 cm lets the bag stand and carry boxes, while a side gusset adds depth without changing the front print area. Send a sketch or a sample and we will match it.

Printing Methods

Three methods are available, and the choice depends on the artwork and the order quantity:

• Screen printing: the lowest cost per unit at volume for one to four spot colours, with strong opacity on natural, white and dark canvas.
• Heat transfer: suited to multicolour artwork, photographs and small runs within an order, with a soft hand-feel.
• UV printing: holds gradients, fine type and photographic detail without colour separation, with low setup cost.

The standard print area is about 25 x 25 cm on the front panel; larger prints, back-side printing, gusset printing and handle printing are quoted by area and colour count. We can also add a woven label, a printed neck label or an interior print so the branding continues when the bag is open.

Artwork, Proofs and Samples

Vector artwork is preferred (AI, PDF or EPS) with fonts outlined; for photographic artwork, send a 300 dpi PNG or TIFF at final print size. We provide a free digital proof showing placement and colours before production. A physical pre-production sample takes about 7 to 10 working days, and Pantone matching is available for brand colours.

The logos and artwork in the photographs are customer samples shown for reference only. Your own artwork replaces them in production.

Care and Longevity

Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent, or spot clean, then air dry flat away from direct heat. Do not bleach. Iron on the reverse side at medium heat, avoiding the printed area. The bag softens with use, which is normal for unlined canvas.

MOQ, Price and Lead Time

The MOQ is 200 pieces per design. The reference price is US$1.50 per unit for the standard unprinted bag; printing, gussets, lining and special sizes are quoted on top so you can see exactly what each option costs. Sampling takes 7 to 10 working days after artwork approval, and bulk production is typically 20 to 30 days depending on quantity and print method.
